"Enough with the Mouse already," Golden recalls himself saying, "we wanted a place to celebrate Us!"

    - Rabbi Meyer Golden, Menorah Mountain co-founder

    ----------...

The park is the brainchild of two L.A.-area rabbis, Meyer Golden and Seymour Sherman, who were frustrated by the entertainment offerings for Hassidic families. "Enough with the Mouse already," Golden recalls himself saying, "we wanted a place to celebrate Us!"

I'm looking forward to a ride on the Flailing Wall, myself.

And I agree with Golden. Who needs a mouse if you don't have a computer. And you certainly don't need more than one.

And The Mother-in-Law should probably come with a warning for those who are feint of heart. I hear that's real scary.

"For adults, at noon each day, there's a musical review, Goys and Dolls, featuring gorgeous schiksas from all over the world, in the Barbra Streisand Performance Hall."

Mmmmm, love Hebrew National dogs with Coney sauce.....

The Guilt Trip sounds great, I love coasters, and if they can combine guilt with a rollercoaster, well, what's NOT to love?

"Most terrifying of all, however, are a pair of popular rides: The Guilt Trip and The Jewish Mother. Both are variations of rickety roller coasters that have riders screaming their lungs out in fright and begging to get off."

I've been on that ride before; it damned near killed me.

"Hands down, the most popular game at the park is the Irv Rubin Shooting Gallery, where you can vent your frustrations at toy Nazi soldiers, white supremacists, Middle East terrorists and many others icons of intolerance who have given the Jews a hard time over the years."

We have that one here at Netscape.

But is it better than "Fantazy Land"? Themepark Review should investigate.

"We sacrificed our hard-earned money, sent you to the Yeshiva to become a Rabbi and this is how you repay us; you open a Jewish Theme Park ... open to the shiksas and the goys too! OY OY OY I'm feeling sick. Where can I lie down?"

You have to catch the parachute jump on wholesale alley. The "Retail Plunge" drops you 5 stories down from the top of Bloomingthalls.

That's like the ride over to the park for a Jewish picnic.

You have to watch out for the turn styles as you leave, they grab you by the ankles, turn you up side down and shake to make sure they got every last cent.

You can't leave before you try the gefilte fish on a schtick and herring tacos. Yum. I heard they are working an a recipe for gefilte fish flavored cotton candy. They may put that one on a cooking show. Rumors of Martha Stewart.

Jewish Theme Park! I thought humanity has reached a level where Religious identity does not segregate people. I guess it still does and it's a shame. I will never understand why Jews want to be separated so badly. Religion is a personal thing and should not segregate people.

I really don't think we need to continue separating people based on religion and other such factors. Instead of encouraging diversity, traditions, and multiculturalism, we are only promoting racism...
