      My thoughts X-actly! I did enjoy the original TV ads which (unfortunately) put this vehicle "on the map", as I've been to Iceland where they were shot. If you have been to Iceland, you would see many large and large tired monster 4WD vehicles. The owners pay the high cost of ownership by charging tourists to take them out on the ice and snow fields.
      If you run out of gas in your hummer, you can haul it out of the way with a stupid steer.*

      I am jealous. I am in California and the smog nazis are terrible. I had a '80 Trans Am. Beautiful car but a pure slug.
      I sold it and now I am restoring a 72 Chevelle. The good news is that it is smog exempt. I already purchased a 350 crate engine, getting the 700R4 this weekend, headers and American Thunder Flowmasters on the way. I am rewiring the car now and it that job stinks.
      Next car will be a big block.
