FAQ On The Global Warming Hoax »
Posted By ind06 1 year, 8 months ago in HumorWhy do 99.999999999999999999999% of the Earth's scientists believe in global warming? I dispute the premise. There are entire fields of scientists who have never gone on record supporting global warming. Like who? Astrologists. Reflexologists. And most importantly, Scientologists. Those people study science, after all.

It's just a theory that there are FAQs on Global Warming. I know. I read it on the internet.

Don't get me started on the War on Legwarmers. They may be an '80s cliche, but I always thought legwarmers were a good look--especially when worn with nothing else. But I've heard they're as bad for our health as cigarettes. The war on them is another conspiracy from the same folks who started the War on Spandex.

Nancy Reagan started the war on leg warmers because of that flasher ****** in that one movie. She wanted to be a ballerina but was just a stripper who worked in the steel mills. I know because I was a big advocate for the leg warmer industry. I thought they were practical as well as fashionable. They kept your legs warm and came in all sorts of neat-o designs and colors. Well anyway, Nancy decided that only ******s wore them and after a call from Jerry Farwell, she started the war on them. I still wear mine around the house in the winter.

why is this such a hot topic of who believes and who doesnt?!! I just dont get it. Global warming is here and is getting worse. only the goat minded individual would not believe that by looking outside. I just dont get why scientist are arguing about it... its real, get over it.
and why is the bush admin paying scientists to refute it... I dont get that either.

The whaling indusrty made it up so that they could sell whale oil. I think whale oil is a fine idea even though it would toss us all back to the dark ages. Bad for the whales but good for us ;)

Yep, we all believe, as I sit here, the third day below zero, setting cold records that have stood since 1979, freezing my butt off! Yes! I believe! Give me an amen! Looking outside is a gooooood way to see how cold it is! Try walking on the snow and listen to it squeek under your feet! Lake Erie is frozen over for the first time in several years. Give me an amen. Lets not put any money into research that will refute the global warming (theory), we know all there is to know, ask Al Gore and give me an amen!!

Okay, I dont think that im all knowing nor stupid. I get the connection of oil and bush. It feels better that way. Can anyone say that it goes both ways?? Does everything have to political? Bush doesnt cause global warming just JFK didnt cause it in the 60's. Are we really that vain that we can affect a planet or even the universe that make our planet hotter. I know that most dont remember that in the 70's we were going into the next ICE AGE??? Scientist cant figure out what the weathers going to be three days from now... how can they predict thousands of years from now? Answer that now, without the normal talking points then we can have a conversation!!!

You mean the connection between Bush and oil?
Oh, I agree, President Bush is not responsible for global warming, you're right GODIMMAD.

In the 70's we were not going into the next ice age. It was said in the 70's that the planet was going into an ice age eventually. Those are cycles that repeat themselves every once in a while but they don't follow a specific pattern. Golbal warming could be caused two ways: man caused or naturally.
Man caused we all know; too much emision of CO2 because of the burning of fuels (fossil or nonfossil), and natrurally caused could be by a huge volcanic eruption which its ash clouds will block sunlight and at the same time it will keep the heat of the earth from leaving to space.
Once the atmosphere is saturated with CO2, we'll be doomed and the party will be over.
3 days from know the weather will be....? who knows. Thousand of years from know we can say that Africa and South America will be farther apart. We have seen the glaciers retrieving, it can be said where the end of glaciers will be in 100 yeras. It can be said that the North pole won't be aiming to Polaris in 26,000 years

Cont.... Many things can be said based on the geologic evidence that exists. It can be said that the Andes are still growing, so are the Alps but not the Appalchians. That can be said. There is evidence. There is more CO2 in the atmosphere now than there was 50,000 years ago. Ice cores from Antarctica show that in other words, so the capacity of the atmosphere to retain heat is greater now than back then. To me what scientists are saying makes a lot of sense but we humans refuse to listen because we don't see from one year to the next. The tropics are as hot as always have been and it's cold right now in Chicago and Calgary, but our life is so short that those things go unnoticed to us.

KelLuv. Due to popular Demand: Following the recent publication of my letter in The Oracle concerning the use of tin foil hats for the reduction of global warming, I have been inundated by requests for a proper pattern to create an effective hat. My research has uncovered many fine designs with two of the best websites suggested here.
Site 1 is http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet. This site describes The Centurion, The Fez and The Classical. These three fine Reynolds double tin foil hats are attractive, sporty and reflect dangerous rays back into the dark reaches of space where they belong while at the same time reducing global warming. For best results in reducing global warming, wear continuously from sun-up till sun-down. The newer "Al Gore" model is not yet in production and has so far proven to be dull, lifeless and not too effective.

Most people are not aware that a fine, nice-looking and effective tin foil hat may actually be constructed using the plans for making a paper hat. Simply substitute tin foil or aluminum wrap for the paper required in the instructions for a paper hat and follow the directions.
Site 2 is http://www.ehow.com/how_414_make-paper-hat.html. It will lead the way to your ownership of a fine pointy-topped tin foil hat that you can be proud to wear anywhere.

KelLuv, I hate to say it but the democrats win the global warming debate. When scientists all over the world vastly agree on something, I think it's safe to assume that's the correct answer over what radio talk show hosts insist on.

This was a funny bit of humor but the writer forgot one other type of scientist that has not gone on record about global warming: Proctologists. But they should, because the rest of the people who are in denial over the science and facts behind global warming are a pain in the ass. Maybe the proctologists could find a cure for them.

As a ultra conservative, I can agree we need to use less and recycle more. My original point is that is political persons are using this as there promises that needs to be corrected becuase the earth is warming. The earth maybe warming but we need to not look at this situation that is just about us, if we have anything to do with it. Use less, recycle, and take care of the earth and its future beings. Its not politcal until Al Gore makes millions becuase some ice is shrinking. What isnt said is on the other pole, it is increasing. IE... You take a river, it shrinks though time. Therefore, the water is less, which allows for more surface area so that it can be heated or cooled easier. If cooled too much, it stays there, but if heated too much it evaporates. So less water right?? Except most can agree we can let out Carbon nor Oxygen, nor water into space. Water comes back to earth, so the rivers fill back up. But they dont. Fig that equation out and talk to me about it!

Nice answer. Let me say this again. "Fig that equation out and talk to me about it!" Im sorry , I meant to say intellegently. You should start at that point, or not.

For those of you that missed it.
BigG originally posted this link.

Apparently, Exxon/Mobile is jumping on the bandwagon and taking another look at their contributions to global warming.
They even say that they are going to cut funding to some of their "think tanks"/propaganda units.
So those of you global warming deniers that are waiting for your checks from AEI, may be disappointed.
That is, if we can believe anything Exxon/Mobil says.

Link is bad paz. If they are doing as you say. Good for them, at least look at the problem. More importantly is that the ppl are being heard and they are responding so that the business isnt hurt as much. In a democracy, we are the checks and balances to the politicans. We are also the checks and balances to the business. If we didnt want to watch about the death and all the other crap about Anna Nichole Smith, they wouldnt show it 23/7 for over a week. FYI, I would scan, If I seen it, I would turn it to another station that actually had something good on. I dont care about watching it as much as I want to know the good ppl in my community that has passed on, so I can pay my respect to. The ppl around us is what that matters, the "******" that was on the TV that much becuase we all know she was, Im sorry she died as a person but the world might be a better place without her.
