House Oversight Committee trying to locate 363 tons of missing cash. Paul Bremer blames poor payroll records for the 12 billion dollars lost somewhere in Iraq. The Committee set up 2 websites -- just in case anyone sees the money that is stacked in $400,000 bricks each.

I love Jon Stewart, he and Stephen Colbert have the most honest news programs on tv. They tell it like it is, no fluff just the facts, LOL

I'm so relieved that there will be TWO tip lines. That means that anyone who has something to report will need to contact both of the tip lines before they can claim that they have received no response from our inefficient government. AAGGHH!!
The whole pack of them (Congress) take their unintended buffoonery to new places.

I think the truly telling aspects of this were the Republican responses - change the subject (we're all familiar with that Repub tactic, aren't we?) and set up their own 'tip line' on their web site AFTER the Committee has set up the same thing on their web site. Can you spell P A R T I S A N S H I P ??

LOL, i love John Stewart, but i'm not sure that money went to Iraq, that money may be in some Swiss bank accounts. Certainly wouldn't surprise me, it didn't just disappear!!

Brick by brick, the walls of the prison are being built. As more hearings unfold, the wall will be high enough we can impeach Bush and Cheney and any others who are culpable, and pop them inside that prison wall.

    That's only 12 billion dollars. I would suggest that's just the tip of the iceberg, and most of it will remain below water no matter how many hearings are held.

John Stewart doesn't report real news. The whole show is fake. Every thing they say on it is the complete opposite of what really happens. He takes things completely out of context.

    yeah it doesn't really bother me, he says it openly he's the fake news... so its not really like he's trying to pass it off as real news.. he knows he is saying is opinion for the most part. there is times when he doesn't... but he's a comedian, there to make people laugh, like Leno, Conan, ect. I would say Letterman, but I don't like him.

      Yah, but isn't it great when he takes a current actual video clip and pairs it up with a past actual video clip to show how often the administration lies. He has shown five or six of these on Condi and Cheney and a couple on Dubya too. Like Dubya saying he was consolidating all the folks from his secret overseas prisons just a month after Condi denied the prisons existed to the German chancelor.
      The amazing efforts by Dubya's press secretaries over the years to obfuscate like Runmmy are hilarious too!

        lol you can take any video clips and say people are lying, the difference is information that can and can't be relayed to the public for security reasons. The USA seems to think the public needs to "know it all".... Truth is, if they know it all, so does the enemy.

So why are all you neo-comms so worked up over a mere $12 billion? That's a mere petty cash compared to what Congress spends unconstitutionally every year. If you do not believe it, take a line-by-line item listing of the budget and see where you can find any authorization in Article I Section 8 for Congress to spend money on the specific items.

  I wonder what the total price tag was on those almost 20,000 earmarks the Repug Congress put in bills last year that Dubya never even gave a thought to before approving? The earmarks are probably even overinflated to cover their no-bid, no audit nature.

...I'll bet you were guilty of the same only against Clinton in the 90s? Only problem now is its not just souls on the left that hate Dubya as his exceptionally low approval rating validates. You need to wake up to some sanity! Besides, its so easy to dislike a guy who has failed at everything! The economy is not dubya's credit - its just hanging on due to laws written by the lobbyists.
