Well, I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired of the way they run things. These people can't get away with this stuff anymore. There's got to be something that I can sign somewhere to show how outraged that I am. I want to ensure that these things that Libby have done are never repeated again. IMPEACH everyone!!! We should get people together and have a protest somewhere about something.

this was funny stuff buts whats really really funny is that its whats actually being said by most of the dems out there about just about anything--esp hillary---and have for some time--its hysterical--take this story and paste a piece in somewhere in most of the lib posts here--you'd never notice the difference--and if i havent made my point clearly and without question then let me be the first to say that what we need here to solve all this obvious corruption of my words by someoine who probably doesnt like what im sayiing,that we should immediatly ..and let me stress i mean right away begin an investigation into what is a growing evil in this administration ..and further more i know about this sort of corruption because ive been in office for a pretty long time now and in my carear ive battled to protect my constituents against this sort of treatment at the hands of an administration the doesnt care about their welfare and is probably at this moment doing something really bad

I want somebody to do something about the increase in pizza delivery time since Scooter was convicted! I don't know exactly what conspiracy is afoot here, but I just know this is all Bush's fault and somebody had better damned well do something about it right now! Let's all demand that Bush appoint Fitzgerald to investigate and get to the bottom of this and if he can't give us the answer, let's get somebody with a bigger brain to do something!

When he did what he did, he should have thought about what he was doing and he probably wouldn't have done it. Or at least this something he did would have been done in a way where what he did would have never been found out by the many looking for someone doing something because they don't have enough to do anyway. I agree with all of the above comments..someone, somewhere, somehow, sometime, simply must do something.

This administration uses the same resources that a democrat does when they're in office for talking about employment.
Second, it's pretty hard to spin the economy as something it isn't (GOD, knows you libs have been trying to do it though) but Wall Street is what it is. They are real numbers. NYSE at 9,094; NASDAQ at 2,387. These numbers were considered good, not good but great, when Bill Clinton was in office. So why is it now that these are false numbers and a spin on the economy?

Perhaps someone will stand trial for the falsehoods you claim, although even if true, I'm not sure what the charge would be. I believe that the legal system intends to pursue this just as soon as they finish prosecuting Sandy Berger for stealing classified documents from the Natonal Archives. As I understand it, they are still searching his pants for further evidence....he is "sloppy" you know.

You know if everyone in politics had to tell the truth they would not be able to do their jobs. BTW that is what they found him Guilty of. Just look at Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, ... and all the rest, I am even sure Carter told a lie somewhere along the way too. This is no different than taking political prisoners.

Libby wasn't found guilty of "outting a covert agent of the CIA." He was found guilty of having a bad memory, or if you will, perjury and obstruction of justice. Special Presecutor Fitgerald or Fitz-Fong as I like to call him, knew before this investigation took place that one of your own (Richard Armatage) outted Valerie Plame. Notice I didn't say a "covert agent" because she wasn't covert. No crime had been committed in accordance with the law.

...a guy like Libby doesn't rise to this level of government for a bad memory as you'd like to believe. One day he is told, two days later he denies knowing, and then he remembers four days later... and 9 government personnel testified that he remembered later too! A jury already weaned of those that hate Dubya unanimously saw the truth, but you ideologues will always defend your vile compatriots. You want to forgive Newt too for condemning Clinton while he was secretly doing the same - of course, no real scrupples from the far right!
Finally, if Cheney didn't think there was a crime, why is Libby, a convicted fellon, going to jail for trying to cover it up?

Actually, it was perjury (since bad memory wasn't plausible enough for the jury to believe, assuming they could remember what he couldn't) and obstruction of something-or-other (since 'justice' doesn't describe the investigation of something that isn't considered a crime when the investigator already knows there's no crime and is asking about it anyway). As a result, life imitates art, in that the article labeled 'humor' describes the situation far more accurately than the legal documents. Oh, wait, legal documents not describing things...that's redundant...ummmmmm...I'll have to get back to you when I figure out a way to clarify this situation, assuming that there is a situation to clarify.. LOL!

Outing an undercover C.I.A. is treasonous activity. If he didn't obstruct justice the perpetrators of treason would be on trial now. Bush, Cheney, Rove and Armitage.

Whether you are pro or con for Libby going to prison, one item is being omitted.
If you or I lied to a government official while it pertained to a Government investigation, folks we would be in jail. Why are Government employees on a different standard?
Is any Government employee an elitist for special treatment?

In that case, the story isn't satire and shouldn't be funny and the posts should be serious. BUT until then, this is SATIRE, and all comments on the story should try to be funny. The premise of the article is correct many Democrats desire libbys interment. Why not, there is a basis if you read my above post. Now for reading Ind06 articles, never, never read them as I did with this article. Again his premise is correct so why not enjoin. Its a democracy and free thought prevails but ind06 he's just another paranoid individual we have to accept within society. If he's willing to post a story lets enjoy the debates within even if it's satire. The byline is correct.
