Iowa has the right idea. Now if the rest of the states would get the same idea, we could get the candidates all pushed off to Canada or Mexico.

IOWA once again takes the lead on controlling politicians....
They decided in the heart of the Corn Belt to speak to politicians in the only language that they truely understand..
POWER.
It is time they were reminded who they truely work for,and realise there will now be consequences for thier actions and
inactions.

I like the bit about Giuliani.
Given the choice of invading a country with an army or a bunch of NYC cab drivers, I'd go for the cabbies. They'd get the job done, wouldn't stand for any baloney from anybody, and regular people would end up running the joint because the rich and would-be-dictating-powerful wouldn't be able to move around the country. And we would actually know what it cost - you can be sure they wouldn't be throwing around sacks of money by the billions.
So maybe we should find a cabbie to be a candidate. I'd feel a lot better with somebody in the White who knew how to earn money and work long hours to give good service (and also had a sense of direction) ... rather than the one we have, who only knows how to spend money, can't find anything on the map unless he is going to run it over, and sure as heck hasn't clue how to work hard.

If the government would stop voting itself raises, the country wouldn't be in the debt it is. And don't get me wrong I feel for other countries when a disaster hits, but don't go giving away all our taxpayers money, especially when other countries won't help us.
