THIS WHAT LIBERAL FREAKS resort to. You don't have the brains to challenge conservatives on their ideas, so you attack the person. Even if you wanted to use your brains, you couldn't. How could you? all that cocaine, LSD and pot has destroyed your ability to think rationally, logically and judge the issues on the merits and in the context of histry- that you probably don't like to read anyway. My father was a former OSS volunteer (the forerunner to the CIA -in post WWII eastern Europe), A Student leader, a freedom and democracy leader that fought Communism and supported the USA and Democracy at a very high cost. Escaped the terror, the Stalinist purge, the leftist supported cleansing of all who were pro liberty, pro west, pro democracy, pro freedom of speech, pro freedom of the press and anti Communism that took over 20 million lives from 1945 to 1989 and still counting i (Cuba, N. Corea, Viet Nam, China). Decided to call America "home" since 1969, to live free, to become citizens. Never for any financial reasons, only for the ideals the this great country represents, only for the freedom and the hope that this last bastion of humanity called AMERICA represented and still represents to millions of humans that are abused by dictators, tyrants and madmen like Saddam, Kim Il Jung, Castro and others.

if you really appreciated america, you would actually practice the ideals that it preaches. one of those is freedom of speech and the ability to have any viewpoint you want. you seem to think that this country is only representative of one viewpoint, when so much more is involved.
also, you seem to be confused about a lot of things. medically, pot ain't that bad for you. in fact, the ADA actually endorsed it when the topic of it being banned came up in the 1930's. also, please remember that people are entitled to their own opinions, not their own facts.

I think the problem most of us are having is that it has become painfully obvious that we have stopped representing those things. It's a pretty speech, but what we're doing to multiple sovereign nations right now is wickedness of the highest order. Some of us stop believing the myth when it becomes painfully obvious that it isn't true anymore. We are a machine that carries out the will of a few bankers and their corporate interests at any cost.
