The first signer of the Declaration of Independence, John Hancock, was an alcohol dealer. Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected President of the U.S. in 1932 on a pledge to end National Prohibition.

      The Kennedy fortune was and still is primarily from Joe Sr's

      commission on every bottle of Irish Whiskey exported to this

      country.
