Well, if it isn't bad enough they have to recall toys again, this idiot Bob Eckert says crap like this. I'm sure Mattel will give him a raise for it. Well go ahead Bob, eat some of the lead paint, U moron!

You obviously missed that part about this being a joke huh?

He didn't say it, its a joke news website.

However, he might be right...the kids who are getting sick are playing with wussy toys. Barbie? Dora the Explorer? Obviously liberal kids. The Conservative kids are working that ****** out with GI Joe, Legos, and Play School Knights, Vikings, and Dinosaurs.

I would have thought that you might find Dora the Colon Explorer rather exciting and innovative. She's DEFINITELY not wussy! She's sh..-eating hot, probably WAY too hot for your nice little conservative kids - though she'd be effective for their constipation problems and hemorrhoids. Give her a whirl yourself and let us know when you're home safely from the emergency room in a couple of days.

There is a lot going on here,(USA) that is dumb. Out sourceing to communists is dumb, why do our politicians allow it..OH I forgot, they are bought, and paid for..if its made in china, I refuse to buy it..Then we should deport every last illegal we can find..then, bill the cost to the U S companys who used them..Then pull every license of any company who hired them..If we are not good enough to make it, we should not buy it.."Free trade", just a way to screw the american worker..and, our politicians allow it..

You said it well. If Americans don't wake up & start to make more noise than the 12 million illegals, they're going to find out that our borders have been erased, our Constitution's been trashed, & we've become 1/3 of the North American Union, comprised of Canada, the U.S.A., and Mexico. Mexicans will keep pouring into the US. 12 million didn't get here by accident; our government allowed it. G. W. Bush was just in Canada to promote this North American Union. After all--couldn't we see it coming after the success of the "European Union"? By the way...the American Communist party (which is still alive and well in the USA) had a big hand in financing & organizing the illegal alien marches of this year and last year. Mexican trucks are now pouring into the US. They are unsafe, not inspected, not subject to US standards, & they'll be endangering our lives on our highways & who knows what they'll be transporting? Use your imagination.

HMMace You covered that well. Outsourcing has led to an unadmitted slump, domino effect, on the survival of this country.

Apparently Roseanne was right, America's losing their sense of humour. I immediately recognized the Carlinesque satire of this story because you notice how a lot of toys are being recalled not only due to dangers, but also because, regrettably we now have to spell out everything to most kids about 'how' to 'properly' use something.

I mean, honestly, most kids should realize not to touch something that's hot, esp. when the item is metal and conductive to heat.

Anyhoo, the article was a joke in all, and please stop taking life so serious, it ain't nohow permenant.

This is a wonderful opportunity for North American businesses to introduce safe and superior products. It might take a while for us North Americans to get over our plastic addiction with china pushing the needle. Does this suggest Xenophobia? Sure maybe but lets ask the people who lost their beloved pets to tainted food from China how much confident they will not lose another pet or a perhaps a human loved one. Besides founded mistrust of anything that continuously causes harm is logical. For my personal concern I have began to stop buying any non essential and cheap flimsy products from China. I have met many who are doing the same.

For years China has been counterfeiting everything from baby formula to Viagra--and getting away with it. (Americans turned a blind eye and bought the fake Gucci bags and imitation Rolex watches.) Now there are unsafe condoms (made in China) I have read that fake baby formula already killed Chinese babies and babies in other lands who imported the stuff. Recently toothpaste was found to be contaminated, their fish/oyster farms make it unsafe to eat Chinese seafood products...How many Americans and their beloved pets will have to die before our Washington, D. C. "royalty" will decide to do something? It's going to affect them too--the contaminated products are just too varied not to. Can't happen too soon to suit me.
