My 10 year old grandson wanted to see if the local sporting goods store sold a particular model of a soccer ball. He wanted to call them but didn't know the number so decided to go on line to see if they carried that brand and model. He entered the first name of Dick's Sporting Goods and got a screen full of pictures that brought out a 'Whoa!'. And that's how easy it is to get porn on line.

Man, when I was a kid. We didn't know what porn was.
My brother and I found a picture my dad was hiding in the garage. Apparently this woman was shipmate of my dads', LOL.
Well that is what we thought back then after all she was wearing dress white bell bottoms and no top. Wow!!!! Bare boobs. Man we tore that garage up looking for more. LMAO
Took us a few hours to realize we had to straighten it back out before my dad got home. We put his picture back where it was and would sneak out to look at it once in a while. LOL

Times have changed. I remember the boys giggling at the boobs in National Geographic magazines when I was in school!

I hate to say it, but my little girlfriends and I first found one of their dad's Playboys and went through it, too, when we were 11! And as teens, we used to have "literary readings" from porn novels before bedtime! LOL!
I visited Paris back in 1972 and was amazed that porn was everywhere, even in windows and on postcards on every corner, and the kids were all ho-hum about it. The French don't seem the worse for wear. They seemed to think Americans are prudes!

The problem is that porn is a degradation of the human spirit. It involves the removal of intimacy and beauty and makes a person less sensitive to his own mind and to others more and more as the person 'gets used to it'. People are becoming uglier, our relationships to ourselves are more shallow and life has less meaning when all we give meaning to is the repetetition of excitement in our lives. We don't know who we are anymore. We block out anything that is not 'pleasureable' and we are addicted to the immediate response, the canned comment, the instant caption and the name tag. Try really looking at a woman, a flower, an old man or a sunrise. Then, you might not want to watch porn all the time.
